MagnetHub lets you offer downloadable resources (PDFs, decks, templates, etc.) and capture qualified leads through controlled access.
In The Credibility Compass, MagnetHub resources can be used from:
- Public brand profiles.
- Compass AI chat download flows.
What You Can Add
A MagnetHub resource is attached to a brand, typically with:
- Title.
- Type (for example
pdf,ppt,xlsx,zip, or external link). - Asset URL / uploaded file.
- Optional description.
- Optional tags.
- Enabled/disabled status.
Most teams use MagnetHub for:
- Brochures and one-pagers.
- Playbooks and checklists.
- Case-study collections.
- Templates and starter kits.
Uploading MagnetHub Files
A common workflow is:
- Open your brand settings.
- Add a MagnetHub entry.
- Upload the file using the in-app uploader.
- Save and enable the MagnetHub resource.
Behind the scenes, uploads use secure signed URLs and file-size limits.
If upload fails, verify:
- File size is within allowed limit.
- File type is supported by your setup.
- The brand is active and you have owner access.
Enabling Download Access
A MagnetHub resource becomes downloadable when:
- It is enabled.
- It has a valid asset URL/file.
- Access requirements (login/validated email, based on flow) are satisfied.
For chat-driven claims, visitors can unlock via email, receive a secure link, and then download.
Lead Capture Flow (Chat)
For Compass AI chat claims, the flow is usually:
- Visitor requests a resource.
- Visitor submits email.
- System validates request and rate limits abuse.
- Download link is sent via email.
- Download is tracked as a lead event.
For new users, activation/account guidance can be included so future downloads are smoother.
Public Brand Profile Behavior
On public brand pages, MagnetHub resources can be listed with title/type/description.
- Logged-in users may get direct download access (based on policy).
- Guests are prompted through the gated flow (for example via chat-issued or validated access link).
This keeps resources discoverable while preserving lead quality controls.
Tracking and Analytics
MagnetHub activity contributes to measurable outcomes such as:
- Number of claims.

Limits and Quotas
Depending on your plan and account configuration, limits can apply to:
- Number of MagnetHub resources per brand.
- Token/credit usage for downloads.
- Claim/download rate limits to prevent abuse.
If downloads stop unexpectedly, check:
- Brand-level setup (enabled + valid file).
- Plan/credit status.
- Temporary anti-abuse rate limits.
Troubleshooting MagnetHub
"Resource not found" or download unavailable
- Confirm the MagnetHub resource is still enabled.
- Confirm an asset/file URL is present and valid.
- Confirm you're testing against the correct brand.
Download link expired or invalid
- Generate a fresh claim/download flow.
- Ask the visitor to re-request through chat if the link was single-use/expired.
Users report email received but cannot download
- Verify the link opens in the same browser (cookies can matter for some guest flows).
- Ask user to use the latest link from email.
- Re-send from a fresh claim if needed.
Best Practices

- Use concise descriptions so visitors know what they’ll get.
